“Five hours of track time available; registration is still open”

With the kickoff of the 2021 Formula Race Promotions Series just over two weeks away, teams and competitors are busy prepping and testing for the upcoming season. Dubbed ‘The Easter Egg Hunt’ and taking place at Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP), more than five hours of track time is available for each race group over the three-day event.

“If you are planning to come, please head over and sign up now on Motorsportreg.com to ensure you can receive information bulletins and driver's notes in a timely fashion, and please remember that this is a Thursday through Saturday event,” explained Bob Wright. “The entry numbers are growing daily, and we are expecting a very healthy start to our season.”

Trackside, Hoosier Tire will continue to serve the FRP family directly and will be on site for all tire purchases, mounting and balancing. A valuable partner in the series, we welcome Hoosier Tire back as the presenting partner of Formula Race Promotions. Carolina Motorsports Park has snack bar facilities, so we encourage you to support them as much as possible.

Wright continued, “CMP has gone over an extensive facelift including a newly paved track, motorhome and electrical hookups, air-conditioned bathrooms and more. The facility has been tremendous in assisting us with our needs and we thank them for all of their efforts. We are anticipating a solid year of competition, and we could not think of a better place to start than at CMP.”

RTD Media will continue to provide FRP with race reports, previews, social media and photography. They will have a minimum of one person on site for each race weekend, but we encourage you to support them for coverage and photography services.
