A new lap record and another pole for Carbone.Braselton, GA – Make it two poles at Road Atlanta and a bigger championship lead for Victor Carbone. The young Brazilian set a new lap record of 1:25.192 during morning qualifying to take pole position and three more championship points ahead of teammate Fabio Orsolon. The Alegra Motorsports duo have dominated the official part of the event, pacing every single session with Carbone going wire-to-wire for his second career F2000 victory with Orsolon finishing second in the first race of the weekend on Friday afternoon.

Braselton, GA – Alegra Motorsports continued leading the way at Road Atlanta as Fabio Orsolon set fast time in Saturday’s F2000 morning practice session. Orsolon’s Alegra teammate and fellow Brazilian, Victor Carbone, was second quick. Carbone took pole and went onto win on Friday as Orsolon finished second in the #26.

It was a banner day for Alegra Motorsports.Braselton, GA – Victor Carbone notched his second win of the 2010 F2000 season over Alegra Motorsports teammate Fabio Orsolon and opened a bigger margin in the championship lead. Carbone started from pole and controlled the race pace, surviving a charge from Rob Nicholas with two laps to go that saw Nicholas go off in turn one, allowing Orsolon to sneak through to make it a one-two for Brazil and Alegra Motorsports. 2007 F2000 Champion Cole Morgan, driving for K-Hill/Greisiger Motorsports was third and continues to hold second in the national championship.

Carbone took pole.Braselton, GA – Victor Carbone took back the championship lead setting a fast lap of 1:25.756 during a 30-minute Road Atlanta qualifying session to take pole and more importantly, three bonus points towards the national championship. Rob Nicholas will start on the outside of the front row, setting his fast lap of 1:25. 776 – two hundredths off Carbone, at the very last second, while Cole Morgan will line up third and now sits one point back in the championship standings.

Orsolon was fastest.Braselton, GA – Alegra Motorsports driver Fabio Orsolon paced an early morning 30-minute practice session at Road Atlanta. Rob Nicholas, who set fast time yesterday, split the Alegra teammates as Victor Carbone was third fastest around the 2.54-mile course. 17-year old Carbone is coming off his first F2000 win at VIR in his sophomore season and sits second in points, while Orsolon logged two podiums in the opening rounds of the season and is third in points.

Morgan was fastest at VIR.Braselton, GA – Coming off a victory at VIR a few weeks ago, 2007 F2000 Series Champion and current points leader Cole Morgan set the fastest time in Thursday testing for this weekend’s F2000 rounds at Road Atlanta. Morgan, driving the #1 for K-Hill/Greisiger Motorsports, is no stranger to the Georgia road-course, having won here in his second ever F2000 start back in 2007.

Morgan leads the points heading into Road Atlanta.New York, NY – The average margin of victory during the opening rounds of the 2010 F2000 Championship Series at VIR was .341 seconds. American driver Cole Morgan, coming off his first win since taking the 2007 title, is leading the national championship by two points over Brazilian Victor Carbone, now in his second season at Alegra Motorsports, as the 30-plus car field heads to Road Atlanta.
